It’s not a VIP room, it’s more a «nicer seats room». Up until recently, you used to get popcorn and soda included in the price, but now you don’t get anything else than a fancier seat. You can buy alcohol in the bar, but the alcohol is expensive(restaurant prices) so I wouldn’t recommend it. Up here, you’re further from the bathrooms and the concession stand(the bar doesn’t sell snacks, only alcohol). I would not pay extra to sit here, I’d book a regular seat and save the extra money(or maybe buy candy from 7-Eleven or Pressbyrån across the street for a better price and better selection)

Nice place if you see a film and being VIP :-) and you can take alcohol in

Rather than using V.I.P. — I’d use the word«plus». For 2x the price of a normal movie, you get free popcorn, free soft drinks and bigger seats. There’s also a bar adjacent to the movie theater balcony entrance(where the VIP’s at). They got Heinekens for 59SEK(=expensive) and no whisky(why?). Also, the fancy coffee maker was broken when I was there. The in-theater experience was ok. Big seats = nice. It was really hot(I wonder if SF use AC at all or they cancelled it to save $$) as it’s a balcony so the heat goes up. Screen felt rather small from the distance and I got the feeling that the sound wasn’t optimized for the balcony. This is SF’s(Sweden’s movie conglomerate with near movie theater monopoly) latest attempt at getting customers. It’s not worth it. I wish they had gotten Sweden’s first Imax theather instead.
