Good place for grabbing a quick bite. We took a few tapas, which were good, but I guess that there might indeed be some less ‘attractive ones’.
Not sure if this is something where local people also come or if it is more fir tourists?

Some if the dishes are good, others rather bad. It’s a bit of a gamble. Liked the octopus rings and the cheese plate was good but looked boring.
Really good sangria through! Nice place to get something to drink and maybe grab a small dish but I would not go for a whole dinner at this place.

I am a big fan if tapas and the fact is that this place has the best tapas in town.
I’ve seen people don’t like the design of the restaurant because they think it feels small, cheap, dirty and what not. I love the interior because it’s the only place in Stockholm where it really feels like eating tapas in Spain. A tapas restaurant shouldn’t have a flashy interior designed by some hipster. It should feel like being in a tavern where it’s a little bit too crowded with some Spanish music in the background. This is exactly what Barcelona feels like.
And all the waiters do speak Spanish fluently, which makes it even more authentic.
I always order calamares, chorizo, patatas braves and some sangria. Start with that and then order more if you’re still hungry.

I came here on my first and only trip to Stockholm because it was within walking distance from my hotel. I’d been out wandering since the time difference hadn’t caught up with me yet, and I thought a quick snack and a drink would send me off to sleep. I ordered the calamari and a glass of the house sangria. The calamari was just ok, hot but with a thick breading and no real spice, and I really wanted some aioli and bread to accompany it. The sangria was disappointing at best, without much flavor, and I tend to judge tapas restaurants on their sangria alone.
The service was polite but nothing special. I may be spoiled as I have a favorite tapas place at home in Dallas that is divine, or maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but I probably wouldn’t come back here.

I’ve come here the last couple times I went to Stockholm. The drinks are really decently priced for it’s central location. Décor is not the greatest but there’s something rustic and charming about it.
The food was good (I had the small Barcelona skewer mix and my friend the chicken, which he raved about).
My waiter was very attentive and had the cutest accent EVER! Seriously adorable.
Quite frankly, I’m confused as to why they have such a low rating on here. From what I understand of the Swedish reviews, they don’t complain of the food or, really, service. I guess the Swedes give out their Unilocal stars a bit more carefully than the rest of us.
Will definitely be coming back when I come back. Hopefully the sexy waiter is still working there! ;)
