I wouldn’t even mark it as 1 star 0 star, VERY RUDE, NO POLITENESS AT ALL, HORRIBLE PLACE
We booked this venue for our wedding reception and wished we hadn’t this probably has to be the worse place to even have 1 drink in ‚
The staff were very rude
We had a very small party with just 27 people, there was supposed to be a CD player in the funtion room well that didn’t work !!! as we wanted to do our own music .
So we had to listern to there music which was terriable the speakers in the room didn’t work properly and the lights didn’t work ‚
The funtion room smelt of mold and dampness,
I had told them we would be leaving around 11.30−12 they said thats fine well on the night they said they wanted us to go at 10.30 which wasn’t planned ‚
I said we had planned to stay till 11.30 they said no you need to go at 10.30 it seemed to me as there was no customers in the bar they wanted us out ‚
One of our friends became a little loud and we ask if they could ask him to leave and they said NO we can’t do that !!!
So we asked him to leave and he went we carried on nicely, to my totall surprise the police turned up and not just 2 police but i mean 30 police with police waggons and flashing lights !!!1
What the hell was that about the police said that they wanted us to leave as we were coursing trouble ‚
We all left WITHOUT A CLUE what we had done i seems to me they just wanted us to go so they could go home !!! and we had to carry all the food out ‚
We left without any nonesense and went somewhere else.
I WISH WE HAD NEVER EVER HAD BOOKED THIS PLACE i will never go back they ‚
They totally ruined my day, they have no business sence whats so ever

STAY WELL CLEAR OF THE PLACE

Really good for a pint on the sea front in the summer sun. Never eaten there but probably wont. Can tend to be the odd bit of fisticuffs if you get there late of a weekend.

The open mic nights in this place is fantastic. The staff are really friendly indeed and the locals are always just up for a laugh. Its a really attractive building inside and out and is really tastefully decorated.
Friday night they have a really cool DJ playing a good mix of music to get people jumping on the dancefloor. The drinks are really reasonable too so you won’t leave feeling out of pocket at all.
Great place for a fun night out all round.

This pub/​bar is brilliant on a summers day — they have lots of seating outside which overlooks the promanade and sea so perfect for people watching! Not usually so busy in the colder months but still quite a good bar. Has a room you can hire out for functions.

I presume this place is called tangerine due to the orange umbrellas rather than it’s similarity to a small orange It is just opposite the pier in Worthing and is a good place to get a pint and a bit to eat — they had a bbq doing burgers yesterday which smelt delicious. The inside is pretty strange and I imagine there is some debauchery going on in there come there come those summer nights
