I was doing my laundry one fine day early after moving to Worthing and was chatting it up with this young kid while at the laundromat — and he mentioned that he was a waiter at this restaurant. Probably wouldn’t have even known about this place were it not for that chance encounter… thank goodness for chance encounters. My friend and I have since been to this restaurant 3 times. Once we had the charcuterie and split the special of the day. The charcuterie was excellent, the main dish was pretty good, but not amazing. The second time was just for a salad for carry out. It was some grilled veggies on a salad. It has since inspired me to make similar salads that I would never have made otherwise. It’s been feeding me for weeks and weeks now. I cannot say enough good things about that salad. Of course, mine are better and cheaper — but had I not had that, I never would have been so creative w/​my salads. Finally, went the other night for some pizza and their Brio salad. The pizza was excellent. We had the one w/​spicy sausage, goat cheese, caramelized onion, and mushroom. The crust held up (nice and thin) and the ingredients and combo were amazing. The staff was excellent — on top of taking plates away, making sure we had everything that we needed, and making sure that we were happy. One of the guys had actually remembered us from our first visit — which was a couple months prior. Now that’s good service. I really enjoy this place, and would suggest it to anyone. The prices are as expected for location, quality, and being in the UK. The place was busy on a Friday night, but not so busy that we had to wait for a table. Perfect evening out.

Pretty average food in insanely huge portions!
For starters I had a tomato, mozzarella and avocado salad which was a whole avocado and about 2 balls of mozzarella. It was simply HUGE and filled me up before I even got to my main.
The main was pretty tasty but again was HUGE. It was a chowder with cod, but I’ve really never seen a piece of fish that size…
I know a size of a dish shouldn’t be a bad thing, but to be honest it was just a huge waste of food. No one on any tables had finished any of their food.
Good value for money, but seriously sort out the portions…
