Mid week beer — sounded like a plan! It’s a clean pub which has a good sized garden and it was perfect for a cold frothy on a Thursday night. Extensive selection of booze, I went for a Duvel — the price did not impress though. I understand that a Belgium beer will attract a premium however that meant I got just over a fiver change from a twenty after buying two. Big potential for a decent intake of food eating punters but it seemed very quiet! They are missing a trick!

very dog friendly, intresting whisky menu, I like to drop by after a walk along the prom with the dog, always seems busy, though never heaving, but with all the different levels, rooms and the front and rear outside its actually quite intimate, nice place to take a partner either for a snifter & chat or a meal(i have done both more than once)

Very spacious pub that caters for most peoples’ needs. All previous reviews are accurate but I have to agree with Matt. The ales are over priced. The pub has a good entertainments programme and has a good strong following.

Clean, friendly, good beer. Just one problem: Massively overpriced. Around £4.50 for a pint. One of the most expensive pubs in Worthing.

Great traditional pub. Food is excellent with friendly helpfull staff. Would reccommend for all ages. The beer garden is brilliant, especially in summer. Dog friendly too!

Nice pub not far from Worthing seafront serving an extensive range of real ales and lagers. There’s plenty of room in here for large groups and the atmosphere is very warming indeed. The food is a mix of traditional British classics and some quite off the wall things like lamb kofta(which was very nice indeed). The Sunday lunch is excellent and at £9.95 for 2 courses — really good value for money. There’s a lovely beer garden which gets quite busy in the summer months. Perfect for enjoying a nice ploughmans and a glass of wine in!

A great pub to spend an afternoon or evening. Excellent selection of drinks with guest ales and wide selection of whiskey and most other spirits(yes, I have tried a few!). The food is top notch, I recommend the lamb shank when they have it on their specials board. Otherwise they do a great steak, certainly the best I’ve had in any pub. The locals and staff are friendly. Also there is an excellent beer garden at the back, very good in the summer.
