Tesco Stores

Out of the two stores in Worcester, I’d say this has the upper hand since the refit. They now have a slightly wider range of products than the St Peter’s store, though they cut down nearly 40 trees in their car park to facilitate the redesign.
Thankfully the City Council ordered them to replant the trees, so it’s nice to know the UK’s biggest retailer doesn’t have a ‘carte blanche’!
As per the previous reviewer, I do my ‘big’ shop here too as the atmosphere is much more relaxed than that at the St Peter’s store. If you’ve not been since the refit, give it a try!

There are 2 Tesco stores in Worcester, and of the 2, this has always been, and remains, the worst. It seems to me that whether I go at 9am or 4pm, or on Monday or Wednesday, that they are out of stock of many of the things that I want. They don’t seem to have a great variety either, where other stores will have 5 versions of a product, your lucky if this Tesco has 1, and often when you look for something that most supermarkets have, it will be completely absent from here. Having said that, I still do my big shop here because I do like Tesco best of all the big supermarkets, and I just top up from other supermarkets in the week.

What have they done to this store with the recent refit! I thought that it could only be improved on but was I wrong. Although the aisles are wide the availablility of products is poor. there are many empty shelves and the quality of the fresh fruit and vegetables is poor.
