Not a bad little pub really. Only been in here the once, but can’t complain. Your usual run of the Mill proper old town pub, not a glorified restaurant. Atmosphere not bad, beer not bad either. Would revisit.

I have been past this pub many times and not thought a lot of it because I am usually put off by these larger pubs. When I was recently out with girlfriend we decided to chance it and get something to eat. First impressions weren’t great as the car park while quite large is not the best in the world. That is just a small complaint though. I was expecting the food and service to be average or below average. The prices are not the cheapest but I was happy to pay that as the food was good quality and the staff were friendly and quick. I would recommend it over the Hungry Horse Farmhouse Pub just down the road in Kesgrave.

ahhh a great bar. There are quite alot of these scattered and i think alot are based on this ones design. There is alot of space for the nights but during the day, they are very pleasant to be in. They are quite, well air conditioned and it has a great outdoor area for the smokers and anyone else who fancy relaxing in the sun. The sports are great, especially the football. It gets very packed if an england game is on, so if you do want to watch it down a pub, either get here very early or go elsewhere as you wont be able to get a look at the screens.

Great pub, good for watching sport. They have a massive screen and always show live football. The staff are friendly, the pub is spacious and the beer is very good too. Its located really well at the top of the thoroughfare and has rear parking which is a bonus.
