One of my coworkers wanted to come here given someone’s report of delicious crispy beef, and I’m not one to turn down Chinese food. It wasn’t epic, but it was still a-OK. I had hot and sour soup, which was pretty good. Loaded with goodies, topped with chile oil, although just a little over thickened, I enjoyed dipping the complimentary shrimp chips in to the soup. Also: when was the last time you got shrimp chips? Have these totally disappeared in the US? I love them and I haven’t had them in years. Following the hot and sour, I had Szechuan pork. This was a little different than I expected — not as hot as I was hoping(and I asked for it extra spicy), with plenty of vegetables, and also in almost a sweet hot sauce, with an orange tint in it. Not bad, just different than what I typically get. Others had good beef with black bean, and the vaunted crispy beef was… good. But like I said. Not epic. Service was good, and the price was reasonable. I would say this is worth a visit if you’re hungry for Chinese.

Have eaten here about 4 times. The food has always been very good indeed but if you get the wrong seat, you end up with a cold blast of air down your neck. The service is good but with wine don’t blink at £35 per head!
