The location of Yates makes it an ideal place to stop for a bite to eat whilst shopping but unfortunately the food and poor service means that I’d recommend you not bother!
By night this place is better than the other chain pubs in the area (Wetherspoons and O’Neils) with a younger crowd but there are better places to drink.
Yates is often dirty and it doesn’t inspire confidence when you repeatedly sit down on a dirty table.
Shame as it’s a good venue and nice, airy bar.
