Good late night fare. Can’t go wrong with a falafel or chicken wrap and chips. Friendly, fast and open late.

With a late night arrival to Windsor with few choices this filled the bill for something quick to eat. It is a tiny little indoor counter w two to three guys taking orders and cooking. We had Donner and chips. They have all sorts of choices of sauces and veggies to choose from to dress the pita wraps. We walked back up the hill eating out«wrapped lamb» and chips very happy with this choice.

This is an average Lebanese hole in the wall place. We had beef/chicken shish sandwiches. The meat wasn’t very tender and it took a very long time to get the sandwiches. The service was good and friendly. I’d recommend something else…

If you expect a restaurant — no, if you expect shawerma — yes. Its a fast-food place, no need to dial up expectations to Michelin stars. Nice people to talk to as well. Generous portions. Will recommend.

On my final day in England. the only craving i had not managed to satisfy, was for a kebab. So we took a few hours to walk around Windsor, and ended up at Ramsey’s Grill. it was just opening up, so it took a few mins to heat up the grill, and cook the food. I asked the owner to make a mixed kebab, with both lamb and chicken, which they obliged. Kebab was good… sauces were also good… it hit the spot for what i needed. Place is tiny, so takeout only(from what i recall). worth trying out if you are in the area.

Well, I have to agree Hashimazam. Ramseys’ Grill produces authentic middleastern take away nosh better than your normal Turkish/Greek greasy laden, fat dripping kebabs that usually makes an encore appearance the following morning. I suspect paul_c and Lanky belong to the moronic brigade that find it taxing to place waste in the proper receptical. I’d rather review and compliment Ramseys’ Grill on their mouthwatering menu than comment on the socially innept neanderthals that lurk from the pubs wetting themselves in the early hours.

This one definitely deserves a review. First, Gordon Ramsay take note that a kebab shop has made a poor attempt to rip off your name. Hopefully you’ll do something about it. Second, this place costs the taxpayer a lot of money. Take a look at the rubbish in the photos. This appeared on an average Thursday night, and someone has to clear it up. Then, take the location. Opposite Windsor Castle, with a late license, below several flats and opposite the residential quarter of St Georges School(you know, the one where the choristers go). So to ensure the staff and residents get a good night’s sleep, money needs to be spent on licensing officers and police to monitor the situation. Sadly, Qype does not allow zero stars, but for not running a more neighbourly business that’s what they deserve.
