I decided to go with my friend for a meal, when we arrived the staff were very pleasant the manager however was extremely rude as we asked for our steak rare and he told us we couldn’t it was well done and that was how we had to have it because if his attitude and the food was not as good as it should be for the price I will never be returning again

Could not fault the welcome we received seemed at first to be a classic and relaxed Italian restaurant, though no fault of there own the clientele seemed anything but classy, loud poorly dressed women and men with the manors of live stock, the service was second to none with a friendly attentive staff. the food was passable but I would never say it was a taste of the old country more tesco. it’s a shame as the welcome was extra special

Yes we had a really pleasant meal with good service from really attentive young staff.
The big problem being our young waiter asked us not to tip as the management keep the lot.
Shamefull.
I would have been happy to dine here again but not with greedy owners taking advantage of young ones like this.

We went on valentines day. Nice food, appalling service. We got a late night booking at 9pm. They said they close at eleven so we’d have ample time for our meal including dessert. How false!
We’d planned to have a three course meal there but we were only able to have a starter and a main. The food took ages to come. Our main meal was served about 35 minutes into the meal.
Come 10pm the staff couldn’t have been more rude and were desperate to throw us out. Tutting away at us saying loudly
«When are they going to leave?» to each other.
They came over and told us in a very rude manner that we could have dessert… IF we wanted but they made it clear to us that they would rather us leave instead. We were only in there an hour from start to finish. We were waiting such a long time for the food to come. If they were so eager to close early they shouldn’t have offered us a late booking in the first place.
They told us that the bar was still open if we wanted to relax after our meal but we were so offended by their service we declined. Wouldn’t go again, haven’t been since and certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If you want a really good romantic Italian in Wigan this isn’t your place.

Wonderful Italain restaurant. owner run and managed, very friendly and great food. Nice attentive staff, and varied menu including a good kids choice. Town centre location with parking at rear. Get a sticker insdie though before you eat or you may get clamped!
