Love this pub very friendly staff and the beer pretty cheap.
It a pub/b&b Iv never stayed there that because I don’t live far from here so I can’t comment on the rooms.
There a beer garden at front which can get very busy in summer the pub itself is pretty big with 2 bay Windows and at the far end of the pub there a pool table.
They don’t do food only bar snacks like crisp/​nuts.

Never stayed here cos I have my own house in town so carnt comment on accommodation.
Saying that this is one of mine and the g. f’s locals.
The bar area which is open to the public is very cosy&clean.
Plenty of seating including two tables under bay windows great for tooting through the window.
Prices are very reasonable, staff are superb, and customers friendly.
Great pool table.
All in all a great bar 2mins walk outside town centre.

I booked this room online for one reason only «£!» It was very close to the town centre and was very cheap. I stayed in their single room. On approach to this venue it looked like a cute little pub, which I’m glad to report, it is but once checked in and shown to my room I was rather happy with what I got for my money. A nice bed, clean towels a flat screen TV and lots of tea’s and coffees. The room and ensuite where very clean and tidy. My only complaint would be that there was no shower gel in the bathroom but at £35 a night, I can happily let this go and still recommend this venue.
