This place is great!
We walked in and were instantly greeted and seated at a communal table, but surprisingly it was not intrusive to our experience.
The food:
My husband ordered the cookie dough dessert. It had aaaaamaxing warm, gooey cookies, flavorful coconut ice cream, whipped cream, and strawberries on it. Delicious! I ordered the sticky toffee pudding with hot custard. What is in sticky toffee pudding that makes it so good?! I loved it. We ate every single bite of both desserts.
The ambiance:
Lots of families, a couple groups of friends, and a few date nights.
The service:
Exceptional. These gentleman never skipped a beat. They were constantly checking in to make sure we were happy, offered ice cream samples before ordering, and even spoke with us about their travels to the US.
It’s a great little place and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth!

The desserts were good, a great way to finish off lamb chop lunch at Tayyabs. Gave them 5 stars because of the incredibly friendly and attentive service. Made me forget I was in East London.

OMG… Where should I start on this one? It’s just absolutely lovely, lively and ice creams are so yummy. I used to go there a couple of time when I worked nearby (Greenfield Road). Very handy during our (not-​so-​often) hot summer days in London.
That’s reasonably priced and the guys were very lovely. I really loved the place and will probably go there anytime I’ll be around for my sweet pause! :)

I love Dessert Island! Me and my girlfriend often walk miles to get here if we’ve eaten somewhere fairly close and want to get dessert after. Yesterday we walked 2 miles from Bank to Dessert Island just so we could get a sundae. Sounds ridiculous but it’s worth it for their great sundaes.
I’ve had the Ferrero Sundae, the Fudge St sundae, Cookie St sundae and ive tried some of the different ice cream flavours too. All of them are fantastic! Service is really nice too, all the servers have been really friendly.
The décor is fun too, it’s all based around London transport.
