Harris’s Bar and Restaurant

This is a lovely restaurant, the atmosphere is good, and the food delicious. Everything was served hot and at the same time, although the poor waitress was on her own on the night we went, and she was very friendly and helpful. We found the prices very reasonable, all in all a very good experience and we will be going again.

Situated in the centre of Wetherby this establishment consists of a bar downstairs and a restaurant upstairs. The bar has a range of keg beer and lagers and one cask ale (John Smiths). Up in the restaurant the menu was small but varied with additional «specials» on most nights. Also other offers appear from time to time to encourage custom. The staff were friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. The food itself was excellent. Generous portions, well cooked, well presented arriving at the table piping hot and all at the same time. Prices were very reasonable making the visit good value for money. One small criticism is that the front entrance opens into the bar and can be a bit off putting to the first time visitor. However, ignore this and go upstairs to the restaurant, you will not be disappointed.
