Sand Bay Beach

peaceful and quiet. Big beach, no toilets or amenities but there is the concorde hotel or the new castle for food, plus a Chinese come fish and chip shop. free parking and a lovely place to chill. Lots of dogs so don’t go if they bother you. Oh and you do get to paddle if you are there at the right time :).

A nice long and quiet stretch of sand. Nothing to do unless you like walking and dodging dog poo. But it is quiet and quite picturesque.

Oh, yes please! This is the epitome of a barren beach, lots of beach and rarely any sea. Just as in Weston-​Super-​Mare where the you can see the sea but hardly ever get to get into it! I don’t mind that though. It’s a wonderful place to be and on a sunny day, we trundle down and stay all day. There is one café there as well, so you can have the sea-​side experience a bit, but it’s nothing like Weston-​Super-​Mare. I really like Weston though, but this is the place to come to enjoy a spot of wild beach and not many people know it, really. There is a free car park as well. and you can take an open top bus to Weston along the old and beautiful toll road. It’s fabulous!
