Grandma’s Tearoom

Popped in after a lovely walk with friends during the week. We all had different things, but each item was excellent. Cannot fault the food and the service was fab too. Keep up the good work.

I love Sand Bay! It’s the bee’s knees! As much as I love Weston-​Super-​Mare for its traditional English sea-​sideness, I love this place for its barren wind-​sweptness. A perfect day out — if you don’t intend actually swimming in the sea, because yo can forget it here!- is a day spent in the sunshine here with a book.
And when the time comes, you can pootle to the café. The only café on the beach.
It’s so old-​fashioned! I’m not marking it with *** because the food is amazing, but because it’s a 50’s throwback, like a living museum of sorts. Here you can get knicker-​bocker glories, coffee and walnut cake and jacket ptatoes and cups of tea. Ice-​cream in a sugar cone.
It has a doilly-​lines place in my heart!

Amazing homemade cake and wonderful tea. The owners are as sweet as the cake. A perfect stop in Sand Bay. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
