Nandos

Good chicken but expensive for what it is, being tight ive started buying i glass off coke to share and just keep refilling that, well theres a resession on and i dont think itll bancrupt them

The idea of Nandos has long appealed to me (points for good advertising perhaps) so when I finally got the chance to try it I grasped said chance firmly and dragooned a large family group into eating there.
Yes, it was a fairly large group and this has been a problem with going to Nandos previously, they don’t take bookings (apparently). There was no table immediately available but the waitress said we could reserve a table IF one of us remained in the restaurant ‘queueing’. As i have said, I was keen to experience Nandos so i volunteered. The wait wasn’t the 45 minutes we had been told but was actually more like 15 and in that time I witnessed another waitress reserve a table for a group of 9 without anyone having to stay hostage.
So, we sat, we ordered and glasses were provided for those of us having a bottomless drink. My glass was returned as there was some sort of foreign object stuck in the bottom of it and we resumed our aimless wiping of the table with napkins and cleaning of cutlery while we waited for our food.
I went for the quarter chicken with chips and coleslaw but no-​one had told me that the Portuguese for sparrow is obviously chicken so I was a little surprised when a rather small portion of chicken was served to me.
On the up side the children enjoyed their bottomless frozen yogurt and we were all able to consume large amounts of fizzy sugary drinks.
