Is OK for a local curry house, but nothing special. It has a local monopoly and it shows. Tiny and cramped, with shabby décor.

The recent review by Gavers is a fair reflection of this joint. The nearest Indian is in Ticehurst some 4 miles away & so, frankly, these guys don’t need to stretch themselves. It ain’t bad, it’s just predictable. You could probably recount their menu & you haven’t even been there…
There is, though, one point that has been foolishly missed by other Qypers. This is a 400 year old building with an inglenook fireplace & these guys have really gone to work on it. The fireplace (& remember, it’s large) is sprayed sparkly sky blue and proudly boasts a super bad taste water feature thingy. It’s SHOCKING!!! I’ll try & take a sneaky photo & post it up shortly. Fantastically, this horror is protected by a perspex screen. I think it stops people vomiting on it.
**STOP PRESS** ENJOYED AN EXCELLENT TANDOORI KING PRAWN LAST FRIDAY, DEFFO NOW WORTH 4 STARS!!!

Well, this is my local curry house and I’ve been coming here for 10 years now.
The food is excellent, as is the service. It’s pretty much your average-​looking interior although, because it’s quite small, it has a really cosy, homely atmosphere.
I strongly recommend the Chicken Garlic Chilli if you ever get the chance to sample this little gem’s delights.
