Never been in here before until the recent Bank Holiday break, but was persuaded by 2 young nephews, as a special treat for them, rather than another boring Easter Egg each. So what did I think as an «older «type of person. Well, its in a lovely location, and really open and spacious inside, with plenty of seats looking out through the very large windows, which is where we sat, overlooking Castle Square, on a very sunny Tuesday afternoon. The service was excellent all round, and the food was very tasty indeed, and considering it was VERY busy all the time we were there, that must be a credit to the staff working here, who were rushing about all over the place. However, the one down side, is that it is VERY expensive for a family outing, our bill came to WELL over £60 (in fact closer to £70) which seemed a lot for 4 people in a «Pizza Express «to me, but it was a treat, so perhaps its justified I suppose …

Of course the same old Pizza Express, but has a nice open kitchen and a good location right by the fountain, so you’ll have ok views, though I wouldn’t say great. right by Monkey, so why not eat here then dance the night away!

What a lovely place this is, the Pizza’s are the best in Swansea none of these pre fab Pizza Hut style ones. Its location is brilliant overlooking a busy castle square. As Juno alludes to its a place where you can use your tesco club card vouchers as well which makes it very good value for money. Prices may seem high but you get what you pay for and the pasta dishes never seem to disappoint. Nor does the décor of the place its rather understated and minimal in so many respects but that adds to the charm of the place. Staff always seem friendly and approachable but be warned car parking is a real problem and there can be a lot of noise coming from wine street. So if your looking for a quiet meal its not really your best alternative.

Pizza Express in Swansea is nicely situated opposite Swansea castle and above Castle Square, giving a nice outlook from the windows (apart perhaps from busy late weekend evenings when the nightlife of Swansea can become slightly wild!).
For the centre of Swansea Pizza Express is convenient and a reliable venue for pizza. Prices are quite high but there are often newspaper offers with buy one pizza get one free as well as the recent tesco clubcard deal which gives £40 worth of pizza express vouchers for £10 of clubcard points, this makes it a really good value venue whilst the offer stands.
Good food and service.
