What kind of restaurant asks you not to return because you advise that the food is overcooked? That’s what happened to me the last time I visited here and I have been a customer for 10 years! I was asked if all was ok and advised it wasn’t, it was extremely overcooked and tough. I then had the manageress having a hysterical moment in front of me and asked me not to return so I won’t, and I would advise others not to also. The food has gone downhill over the past 6 months or so and the manageress was extremely rude. Gordon Ramsay would have a field day! For drinks however, I will give them their due that it has a well stocked bar and I would return if it was taken over by new management as they really do not respect the comments and feedback from their customers.

The Rosedene is set back on Queen Alexander road, and has a large car park. There are disabled spaces right near the front door. There are no specific spaces for parent and children but the bays are really big so there are no problems opening the car doors. When you first enter the Rosedene there is a room to your left where they hold functions. I have heard the do good weddings but have never been to one so can’t comment. The main bar is very open and light. There is a conservatory on the side an back to make it even bigger. The bar is long and there are always enough staff on so you never have to wait long to be served. The food is lovely and comes really quickly. The menu is varied and there is something for everyone. There isn’t a childrens menu, but most of the meals will suit chilren. The Rosedene have quiz’s on Mondays an Wednesdays and often hold charity nights.
