Considering this place is a(smallish) chain — they seem to get it right! I’ve only seen them in the suburbs of Greater Manchester but they’re a handy go to if you’re stuck somewhere lacking in independents. I like the fact that the staff are always pretty bubbly, easy going and super friendly — it doesn’t seem fake and don’t seem understaffed and overworked like some of the big chains seem to be. The coffee isn’t bad and the surroundings ‘Costa-ery’ but a little better — I like the fact that they support local farmers for milk and even have a 2nd hand book exchange system upstairs. Nice touches!

Great coffee shop. Really friendly staff.(Manager recognized us after going twice& now makes an effort to let on… In a non-creepy way). A cosy regular of ours. Good coffee and relaxed atmosphere. Can get busy on Saturdays. Gorgeous cakes and waffels.

Free Wi-fi, decent coffee and personal, smiling service. Makes a welcome break from coffee-by-numbers in the bigger chain stores. With little other competition around Stockport for quality cafes, this place gets little wrong, and has some other great sounding events(Open Mic, Meditation). Worth making it your regular.
