A really impresive big store located in the main shopping area (Merseyway) of stockport town centre, with a great layout and lots of offer instore its really good place to look for bargins, although some products I saw I have seen cheaper elsewhere in the last few weeks, did manage to get some good offers on Dr Who DVD’s, and some older films and a couple of books so was very happy, but I would recommend you shop around first and check out the deals they have on.

This is a branch of HMV in stockport in merseyway shopping centre. This has recently expanded by buying the travel shop next door and now has a big game section. The prices here are usually a bit higher than online, but if you are in a hurry to find a certain DVD/​game/​CD then HMV is the best place to look. You can have a good browse through and pick up some bargains. HMV will order in form you items you cannot see on the shelves if they aren in stock. This sells a wide range of music on the ground floor and upstairs has a huge video/​dvd and games section. They also sell posters and other dvd/​game related merchendise.
