Love asda at night, tunes going away and all the zombie workers hiding between boxes! Just wish they would leave the changing rooms open at night for midnight shop aholics like me! The Asda in St. Helens also needs a place to put the dog! Somewhere safe on the front near cameras to ensure they are not stolen etc but there is absolutely nothing to tie the dog to

This place really comes into it’s own for takeaways. £2.38 for a 10″ make your own pizza with 4 toppings, Bargain! We usually have pizza on a thursday and can feed all four of us for the price of one at domino’s. Also, you know it’s fresh as the staff make it infront of you.

Asda in Sthelens isnt the biggest and the best but they do stock a wide range of products. The store is quite big and has a George section but sadly no café. The car park is quite bug but like others have said you need to pay £1 for your car parking ticket and then redeem ur £1 cash back when at the till, it can be annoying but this is so others dont use asda car park to go shopping in town so theres always enough spaces for the asda users which is understandable. The staff are all well dressed and are all more than helpfull. The food they stock is always fresh and they also offer a build ur own pizza range at the back of the store(ideal for those who like pizzas with random toppings lol). There is also a self service till at asda which is ideal when you only have a few products to quickly scan through. they also have cah machines outside which come in handy

Love Asda stores. Get everything here from your pint milk to your pasta dishes and indian selections. Also good range of electrical items. Get your pictures sorted. Have good range of gift ideas where you can personalise with photos. The only thing lacking at this store is the George range — still very good just not as much as there is in other asda stores.

I recently starting shopping at the Asda in St. Helens after all them ads on the tv asying they had the most lowest priced products out of the main supermarkets. This seems to be true. Also, the quality of stuff in Asda is generally very good. I buy steak most weeks and it is as good as anything from a butchers. There is ample car parking spaces but you do have to get a ticket from a machine and then redeem your pound back from the cashier. I little annoying but nonetheless. The staff are generally very helpful although one thing I do find annoying is when they ask ‘would you like a bag for those’. When you are buying 50 products or so and you have no signs of bags etc to carry the goods, surely they can see you want a bag and not have to ask. Then sometimes they give you two plastic bags. There are also some cash machines outside, a self serivce area inside and a big clothes section.

While this store is not one of their biggest, I find it does stock quite a good variety of products. Their range of veggie food can be a little limited as they dont have that many fresh veggie foods to choose from — thank goodness for frozen foods as this means I stock up on veggie burgers and quorn. Never had a problem with the staff they have always been friendly. I did have one mishap many years ago where I bought a cheese pasty from them, bit into it and it was meat and potato! Being a veggie I was horrified and took it back and complained to customer services who were mortified and replaced it for me.

This is a store for all to do a full shop. The staff are extremely helpful at all times — I’ve taken in people who don’t know what they are doing and get lost in the carpark. The staff cope with this with a smile. The store itself seems to stock everything anybody could want for day-today living. The carpark is £1 for a ticket, but this comes off your bill when you shop there — the best way to regulate parking that I’ve seen anywhere.
