One of a growing number of pubs run by the Izakaya Pub company better known by association with Ossett brewery. Their pubs have a definate ‘feel’ or style which you will be aware of if you have visited others. The beer range is predictable for these outlets; mainly from breweries that they own! (Ossett, Riverhead and Fernandes) with occaisional guests. Dont be put off by history! This pub had a poor reputation but has been transformed into a very pleasant real ale pub and forms a useful stop off on the increasing number of real ale pubs on the growing Sowerby Bridge circuit.
