Normally, I do not frequent Starbucks. Personally, I am just not a fan of coffee. When we found ourselves in Southampton, England for 2 nights, this Starbucks proved to be an awesome place to go. The place gets packed. Go upstairs for more seating because downstairs there is very busy. My wife ordered a blended fruit drink(Mango Passion). I was able to say No to all the good looking desserts in the display cases. After receiving her order, we found a nice spot upstairs. We stayed here for about 3 hours. Their Wi-fi connection was great and fast. We were able to catch up with all our correspondence. Enjoyed hanging out here. The employees were cool. Place was kept clean despite the crowds of customers. Washroom was small, but clean. Would absolutely return to this Starbucks locale. I am a fan of this location.

You must try the hot chocolate with caramel and cream. Pure heaven. The cheesecake also went down a treat. This is quite a small coffee shop but there is more seating upstairs. It can get very overcrowded and busy due to the prime location.

Starbucks is the best coffee chain in the UK. Offering a wonderful range of beverages including tea, water, smoothies, hot chocolate, and of course, coffee, it’s got something for everyone. Starbucks also offers plenty of snacks, both sweet and savoury, for all times of the day. Breakfast items include paninis, BLTs and Yoghurts. Lunch offers sandwiches, cakes and muffins, and an evening treat is not just limited to a chewy brownie and cookies. Starbucks is perfect for a moment of indulgence when you feel you deserve it!

Like most places these days there is a lot of competition. Starbucks used to be the high street coffee giant along with Costa but more and more little coffee shops are sprouting up and they offer cheaper items! This Starbucks is a skinny little shop. Not much seating downstairs so don’t bother going in with a pram. The seating upstairs is better but if you have lots of shopping then walking up the stairs with your drinks and tray and bags is a real pain. Always go with a friend who can go upstairs bags seat and take the bags while you order. Otherwise you have to stand around while your coffee gets cold waiting for a seat. Drink service is quite slow and the times I’ve been there they haven’t accepted cards to pay with!

Little starbucks joined to the West Quay but facing onto the high street. Ideal location if after a bit of shopping you fancy a hot beverage and snack. Not much seating downstairs but quite a bit upstairs. There is also a few seats outside which is good in the summer. Like all Starbucks good variety of drinks but if your a tea drinker avoid Starbucks tea, not good. However the hot chocolate especially the caramel one is really good. They served snacks, like sandwiches and cakes. The low fat carrot cake is lovely. As always Starbucks are quite expensive but sometimes it is worth it!

Very little Starbucks on the edge of West Quay Shopping Centre, often gets very packed out in there during lunchtime or at weekends. Plenty of seating upstairs usually but you can’t tell till you get up there and you’ve got a drink and nowhere to sit! Very friendly staff! and its like McDonalds, Starbucks drinks taste the same wherever you buy them! Still the blueberry cheesecake comes very highly recommended with a Chai Tea Latte. But don’t have more than one of any of the Starbucks desserts, they’re super calories and do tend to give you problems the next day! Still I shouldn’t but i love Starbucks.

Wherever you go in the world, youll A) Need a cup of coffee B) Always find a Starbucks well surprise surprise theres a starbucks in Southampton! what sets this apart from say, S B in Soho, London? Um, about 50p cheaper per item and a different view. Sometimes i use my laptop to use the wifi and this is really quick as well as having really friendly staff greet you ‘good morning/afternoon’ etc. A very pleasant experience although i hope they are turning their taps of now.
