This is family pub, serving a good choice of ales(& ciders for James). They serve simple, well-prepared food, all made on the premises from local produce — except the Lovington ice-cream which is bought in. We all had sausages & mash with onion gravy which was delicious. Most of the dishes are available in standard(c.£5−6) and small portions(c. £4). Really nice with huge log fires in winter and well worth a visit. It does get busy on Sundays and holidays, but you can book in advance.
