Run of the mill chain bar, not much to say. Has outdoor seating, loud music (which you can avoid by sitting near the entrance) and prices are not too bad. Cocktails are disappointing, it’s more ice in a glass than a cocktail.

I’ve been to this branch of The Slug & Lettuce a couple of times in the last few months, and really do like it.
As it’s near to Cineworld, it makes a nice change from Pizza or Burgers as lunch/​dinner options when meeting friends. The menu is quite wide ranging, and there is a full bar as well as a good selection of hot drinks and herbal teas (of which I am always a fan!).
The service is speedy and friendly, and it’s a reasonable price, with some special offers always available too.
I had a salad there over Christmas, and then a wrap there last week. Both were very tasty and great value. I’d go again.

This is a comfy, spacious and inexpensive, family friendly pub. A good menu, with weekly special offers, and an extensive cocktail menu, make it a particular hot spot — especially on a Monday when it offers 50% off the menu!
With a packed social and entertainment calendar, the pub is always busy — filled with shoppers taking a break and well-​earned lunch, and those drinking and dancing on a Friday and Saturday night.
It also has a pretty big garden, perfect for lazy days in the sunshine.
The fish and chips are particularly good.
