Been here several times now. Evening choices are much better than lunchtimes. Quality of food is generally quite good and compares much more favourably than the former Dragon Chef. There is always a good mix of Indian and Chinese dishes to taste. Staff are generally quite friendly and service is unassuming.

After reading some good reviews on the tastecard app, I must admit that I expected this place to be a little better than it turned out to be. The food didn’t impress me and it actually tasted quite cheap and greasy… But to be honest, I kind of expected it for the price and location. If it weren’t for the misleading reviews I read, I wouldn’t have bothered.

mediocre food, self service buffet. there was no host to seat us or to tell us it was a buffet, sat there for about 20mins before realising it was a buffet restaurant. not so much a wide selection as they say, the naan breads are the perfect size for you if you’re a 3 year old girl.

I regularly go to this place. The service they give is par excellence. Their food is good and also hot. They give a lot of variety in their food.

Been here once… And I would definitely go again! The staff made me feel as if I was a celebrity with the fantastic treatment me and my family received! The place is really well spaced, decorated nicely, and the food is amazing! such a choice and it is all priced on the buffet option perfectly! drinks are a little expensive but it doesn’t bother me much as the quality of everything else overshadows it! it’s a warm welcoming environment and many families entered while we were enjoying our night out. Probably one of the only places in Slough that is still worth going to!

So Asia in slough is halal as it states. so thats something less to worry about as the majority of the dishes are meat. Its is a place that is value for money if you are in slough(theres nothing else there too be honest!). There is a good selection of starters(chinese spring rolls, samosas, chips etc), there is such a variety of main dishes to choose from and i have to say if you love chines/thai food this place is good value and worth going, but for me i found the food bland. Also the nans are not ‘nans’ instead pitta bread heated, also they are cut in half and there was not much left there. For the deserts there was only ice cream(no fruit or jelly) when we went, mint(my fav) was finished so i did not get to taste the ice cream. would i go there again maybe– but would not make a special trip just for So-asia. Also it would be nice if they had parking for customers.

I really like this place. The first thing that hits you is just so very spacious it is, with plenty of room to walk around. There are tables with chairs and also tables with nice comfortable rounded booths if it suits your taste. Also, away from the eating area, near the entrance there is the sofa area where I assume people retire for a cup of coffee with friends. It really has to be seen. The interior is excellent. Clean, very modern and beautifully decorated. Everything looks very new and tidy. There is also a very nice bar. This is a buffet restaurant where you can eat as much as you want for a set price(£10.50 at the time of writing this review). This means there is no need to spend several minutes looking at the menu, ordering and then waiting up to 25 minutes before finally getting to eat. You simply just go to the food area, pick up a plate and help yourself to whatever you want. As far as variety is concerned, there is plenty to choose from: Chinese, Thai, Malaysian and Indian. They have soup, noodles, variety of rice dishes, vegetable dishes, meat dishes and much more. There is also a salad bar and ice cream bar too. Remember you can eat any and all of those, and as much as you want. What I also like is how there is a large grill counter where you can choose from noodles, raw chicken pieces(boneless and skinless) and numerous other food where the chef can make whatever you want. The best bit is how he cooks right there in front of you so you get to see it made. Staff are very friendly and encourage you to use a clean plate whenever you go back for more servings of whatever you want. They contantly come around picking up used empty plates from your table. We also had a waiter going round from table to table with a plate of naan breads, offering them to everyone. I felt this was a nice gesture considering they don’t get any extra money by giving us the naan breads. I am pleased to say everyone at my table were very well looked after. As far as taste of the food is concerned I felt it was about a bit above average. Very enjoyable and certainly delicously but not amongst the best I have had. I definitely plan on returning. A very pleasant environment, good food and excellent service.

All-you-can-eat style buffet restaurant situated right in the heart of Slough High Street. Spacious, clean & attractively decorated. Food is self-service and includes salad, cold meats and a wide variety of Indian, Chinese, Thai & Malaysian main course dishes & starters together with rice, noodles, Naan breads & sauces. Vegetarian options available and basic favourites such as chicken nuggets, fish fingers and chips for the kiddies and the non-adventurous. Also a range of basic desserts — several varieties of ice-cream when we were there, although the menu also mentions fruit salad and jelly! Staff were polite, but had a tendency to hover and remove used crockery and cutlery unexpectedly which seemed a little unnecessary, if you were merely pausing for a bit of a rest before heading back to the buffet area. Prices were very reasonable and the food was pretty good — excellent value for money and a great place for all the family.
