Totally agree! Excellent place for both and for wheel chairs, although you can wait outside as the internal café is not accessible, waiters do serve outside and there is a culvert when it rains for shelter.

They do have the most massive scrummy cakes here, not that most of us have any spare calorie capacity. The views are the best around and it is very pleasant to sit in the garden in the summer. Staff can be a bit ‘worn out’, it’s probably the stairs. One assistant has been working here for probably twenty years, and she could do with a day off ! Always very clean, good service but a little on the pricey side, then again you pay for the location. You have to walk here, one way or the other and the car parking nearby is pricey. On the whole you’ll probably enjoy your cake indulgence and visit. Disabled OK downstairs.

Great views, quaint property, good food, obnoxious staff. A recipe for perfection tainted only by the manner of two female members of staff who seemed to be more focused on speaking down to us and implying that our custom was not really wanted as two tables were prebooked for lunch?! However, looking past their failings and discourteous behaviour the food was good, but others in the party felt it was lacking(and the diet coke to be avoided!) The views are amazing and the cakes looked excellent regrettably the latter were untested because we felt unwelcome. Without the women, i would have scored it five stars, so worth a visit in my opinion, although again, others in the group said it was not a place they would return to
