great little pub, i used to run this place many moons ago and miss it. nice freindly place with a great local following.

Very, very busy when Sheffield United matches are on and as such I can’t give a proper review as it’s always rammed. The bar staff tend to get a bit surly and there’s nowhere to move. The décor of the pub probably needs some updating with the toilets less than attractive. I’m sure there are much better options nearby. Often does promotions and quizzes and has a student-​based clientelle in the week.

Another good pub for a pre match drink. The bar is a decent size but most times it takes a while to get served which can be a pain.
A beer garden out back and a few benches on the front usually fill up to avoid congestion inside.
It’s mainly used by blades fans but now and then away fans are allowed in for drinks.
Serves snacks also.

There is a beer garden to the rear of the pub that often has its own bar on busy days. The pub also serves food and has a good range of beers.
However, it must be noted that this may often be a home fans only pub in some circumstances. However, generally it is welcoming to away supporters.
