I come to the Balti House with my husband and 3 daughters regularly, ranging in age from 2 to 10 they adore the buffet style set up. The all pop back for little extras, popadoms and desserts but also tuck into the gorgeous selection of currys. I really enjoy the wide range on offer, a chance to try a mouthful of each dish without the worry of getting a whole plate that you dont really like or is too spicy! We all love the Onion Bhajis and Samosas! The deserts on offer on the buffet are really healthy but with some nice naughty options such as a cold rice pudding. For £9.50 per head in the week for adults and £5.95 for kids(they never charge for my 2 year old as she just eats a tiddly bit), its a really affordable meal and healthy too! The staff are really friendly and welcoming and the seating, music and lighting is superb and adds to the atmosphere beautifully! I really have nothing to fault at this venue at all. If you are a family with young kids or a couple looking for a romantic night out, you will find something to enjoy here.

I visited the Balti House as recommended by friends. Very impressive. We visited on a Thursday evening and were treated to great service and fantastic food.

Friends spent a weekend in Salisbury and visited The Balti House and it was a lovely experience. A really nice traditional Indian Buffet Restaurant and Bar. Eat As Much As You Like including a lovely selection of dessert– very friendly staff and great food. Would highly recommend. We will see you again :-)

I was recommended the buffet by my brother so thought I’d give it a try with my girlfriend. The array of food on offer was undeniably impressive, in a traditional serve yourself style. The onion bhaji’s, however, were very dry and crispy as being under warming lights isn’t conducive to a quality bhaji! The meat based dishes were tasty but the chicken based dishes left a lot to be desired. The reason for this was clear; they use cheap spongy chicken, the stuff that has been injected with water and has a very distinctive texture. Having said this my brother said he hadn’t even noticed, but then he’ll eat anything! The selection of deserts was impressive, with fresh fruits and rice pudding which was very nice and stodgy. All in all, an impressive array for a buffet let down by the low quality chicken used in all the dishes.
