I can’t help myself, nearly everytime I go to Waga I order Chilli Squid & Beef Teriyaki Soba, its great! The Media City Restaurant has great views across Salford Quays and you can even see the Blue Peter Garden(what more could you possibly want!!). The service is welcoming, friendly and upbeat. I’m never disapppointed when I visit and along with the above recommendations the gyoza are tastey as is the pallet cleansing coconut ice cream for dessert. #Noodles #Manchester #MediaCity #Waga

Love this place. Always cook the good exactly how you ask for it, fresh and full of flavour! Would be perfect if a little cheaper but I still return again and again so it must be affordable! One of my favourites! Check out for more reviews

A lot of people will already be fairly familiar with the Wagamama chain serving East Asian dishes, so given there are a lot of restaurants across the country(94 I believe!) and the fact this one appears pretty much identical to others I’ve visited, I’ll skip the comments on décor and layout etc. That being said, the Salford MediaCity restaurant is cozy enough not to feel like a high school cafeteria, but large enough to accommodate sizable groups for the lunchtime rush. It’s kept spotlessly clean and diners have an open view of the kitchen so can be confident that the chefs are spotlessly clean too… There’s a good range of dishes, from curries to ramen and teppanyaki and the portion sizes are pretty generous. So for a satisfying lunch, whether you prefer using chopsticks or forks, you can usually rely on these guys to cook up something nice. Tip: Soft drinks are rather expensive, but if you don’t want tap water, opt for the ginger beer as you get a decent sized glass of it.

I love Japanese food and I can’t really detect anything wrong with the food that this Wagamama produces but the fact is every time I see this place it’s empty or only with 1 – 2 tables busy and this is at main eating times of course. This makes the food come out really quickly of course but also it makes you feel like you’re on display because all the staff(why are there so many of them?) stare at you. Food comes out really quick because you’re the only one there but it makes me question the quality of it too you know? Though I didn’t notice much fault besides the chicken being very dry with what I ate which makes me believe that it had been kept warm for a while. The 2nd time I wanted to go there was a Tuesday evening and both the Dockbar and Prezzo were both busy(we chose to go to the latter as we didn’t wanna feel super awkward again) That’s why I give this place a 2. I love Wagamama where i would normally give a 4(waiting times for being seated and getting served and food) but this place seems very off.
