I have been here a few times. During my earlier visits, I noticed that the place was full of women and the staff were all Italian males. I haven’t been here in over a year and the place seems to be busy as I make my way to Tescos but still reluctant to go in for over-priced goods. We had a craving for pizza and saw on their blackboard outside that they serve their pizzas on a sourdough base so we decided to give them a try. The pizzas are freshly made and came out on a pizza peel. Although I asked for knives and forks we ate the pizza with our hands like everyone else. I ordered prociutto and funghi and my partner ordered capprioccosa. The only disappointment with this is that the toppings were sparingly placed on the pizza. The ambiance of the place is really chilled and it seems great for kids with a kids menu, 4 high chairs and a few dads bought their kids in. The manager was milling around chatting to a table that I didn’t realise he worked there until he served us our pizza. Still over priced, but I would like to try the buffet Fridays along with some Prosecco :).

Very nice modern coffee bar with outdoor seating available. Reasonably priced and tasty Italian food available. Prefer it to the other coffee shops in Sale. Alcohol is also available — bonus!

We had breakfast in Coasters about two hours before venturing in here. This was our first visit and the friendly waitress took time to show us all the food on offer. So we decided on a range of light dishes to sample, we opted for some little crostini snacks, french stick style bread with cream cheese, topped with diced ham and fresh basil leaves(£1 each) and a small bowl of hot basil & pine nut tortellini sprinkled with cheese(£3). On the sweet side there was a large chocolate croissant(£1.50), a white chocolate stuffed flaky pastry and a coconut & jam tray bake(£2.30). Coffees were a large latte and a double espresso. Everything had great taste and both of the coffees were ace too. The tortellini was really very good and it was quite filling. I’ve had this in Italy many times, sometimes stuffed with walnuts instead of pine nuts. I uploaded a picture of the extensive menu. This place serves beers and wines by the glass or bottle too, again the booze focus is on Italian. There’s free wifi, comfy clean toilets and it’s a pretty spacey place inside. I can’t think of any downsides actually. As we sat munching and people watching, the air filled with the smell of garlic — really enticing. As I said this was our first venture and I spied lots of goodies, especially sweet and richly filled cakes and pastry, so we’ll be back to this little piece of Italian gastronomy.
