Love the comic theme. #retro food is out standing definitely place to be in Leamington. Warm, relaxed and cracking atmosphere.

What a great addition to Leamington’s pub scene this is.
There is a varied menu ranging from the deliciously fun (spam fritters) through to well conceived and brilliantly executed ‘grown up’ dishes (Barbury Duck, Crab Risotto and Roast Pork with Saffron Potatoes).
It’s also a great place to go just for a drink, with wine lovers well catered for. Probably the best wine list I’ve seen in a relaxed and casual pub for a long time. Normally you’ll only find such good wine lists in posher pubs where you’re not allowed to take your jacket off or some such nonsense.
You can tell that this place doesn’t take itself too seriously. The ambiance, the staff, the surroundings are all eclectic, approachable and have a sense of humour. Families and dogs are both welcome. There’s a lovely courtyard garden and a nice long bar to sit at if you’re that way inclined.
Visit this pub. You won’t be disappointed. Unless you prefer stuffy posh pubs with ‘dining rooms’ that is.
