we had a meal there last week. food was good, as was the service. we had some wine but this was spoilt by the cold air blowing out of the ceiling vents. we asked the staff to turn on the heating, which are only small heaters above the door. the staff member looked puzzled and said why? are you cold?.
when we ask around town, we were told this a known problem with this pub.

The Bluecoats is the Wetherspoons near the town hall. It recently had a refurbishment. I like it during the day as the food is usually good and there’s a great range of well kept real ale. However Friday or Saturday night is too busy for me as you have to fight to get to the bar. There’s also a beer garden.
