Great pub, the food is a little pricey but ‘you get what you pay for’, it is amazing. They have bands on a Friday night and sometimes acoustic acts on a Monday which is great with a chilled out, candle lit atmosphere!

Posh food that is absolutely fabulous if a little pricey. However for that special occasion it is well worth the extra. Set out in the country it has a homely feel, although the food is up to the minute and of excellent quality.

This is set back in the countryside near callow hill. I have been there with friends and it is not for a student budget. They have a very expensive restaurant area and then a bar area, where they do bar snacks. I found it all rather pretensious and expensive –but then it depends on what you like anbd how much you want to spend. The staff weren’t that helpful when i went to be honest! But it might be different now (was last year)

Gorgeous food, a little more than i usually pay but well worth the money — idael if you want somewhere different or want to treat someone. Lovely little pub. They used to have live music on a weekend, so did get a little cramped and you had to fight for a seat– not sure if they do that anymore
