I have only eaten in here once, and was very disappointed. We went with our 5 year old daughter as a treat. On arrival the restaurant was not yet open so we waited until opening time which they were late in doing so! The atmosphere was very lacklustre, even though the staff were friendly enough. Food was mediocre and wasn’t worth the above average price you pay. Unfortunately we won’t be returning.

The food is always really good but the atmosphere always seems to be one of two extremes; it’s either rammed and buzzing or empty and miserable. On our last visit there we were one of three tables which rapidly became the only– table-​in-​the-​place as people seem to eat very early in Radlett and the waiter actually told us he hated serving so few people and was bored and unhappy! We tried not to spoil his evening any more than we had already and ate up. We’ve not been back. We reverted to using Pang’s over the road where the service has always been perfect. We used it for a takeway this week. It was woeful. The meat in the beef and chicken dishes looked like the pre-​packed water-​injected rubbish you get on the sliced meats counter in the supermarket, the noodles and prawn crackers tasted old and stale, the dipping sauce off. I was told by another restaurant owner in the town that Tim’s has recently changed hands, if that’s the case then it’s not a change for the better. Avoid. What’s happen to Chinese food in Radlett? Pang’s closed earlier this year and the reasonable take away shut down last week.

Really nice restaurant. Lovely food and staff friendly. I have sometimes found that when it is busy, the service slows right down.
I do also feel it’s a tad on the expensive side. But nice for a special night out.
