We checked in at 2′ oclock and we where
told our room was made up it wasn’t we told the desk staff they said they would sort it. We came back at 6 o’clock it still wasn’t done. They then moved us to a new room that was made up but the bed wasn’t pushed against the wall and under the bed was dusty. I’ve stayed in hostels that where nicer. Fortunately we still had a good time in the main ball area for a relatives wedding party but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Assez vieil Hotel, typique anglais. De la moquette partout même sur les mur. Ambiance un peu sombre mais je m’y suis sentit à l’aise. Les chambres sont confortable. Et le restaurant est tip top, une vue panoramique sur le port de plaisance. Une carte variée et une bonne cuisine. Un peu cher mais on paye le lieu, face à la mer. J’y vais régulièrement.

We stayed here as a weekend break. the hotel its self was wonderfull, the rooms very nice though nothing amazing. we didnt have a sea view but still very nice. the staff were very helpful. the prices in the bar were so expencive, so we didnt really spend to much of our time drinkin in there. all along the quay there are some lovely bars, restaurants and take aways. a truly stunning place to be in the evening. very romantic.

Average Hotel in the Thistle chain. Check in was fast booked over internet and We had no problems. Room small but clean and it had lovely power shower.
Avoid bar Drinks very expensive Staff very friendly and knowleagable on places to visit in Poole and Bourmouth and also plenty of leaflets in hotel reception area of the areas tourist hotspots .Don’t miss Monkey world!
This hotel is ideal for one night or weekend stopover but I would not recomend it for any more nights.

I was here once as a delegate, and a friend and I once used the bar.
I’m never using the bar again! Two glasses of wine cost £7.50! And I had the house red! we were both a bit disgusted.
When I used the conference suite, it was a bit hard to find and most of us felt quite dozy as grew warmer and warmer.
It seems a popular venue for wedding receptions. As to how good they are, I’m not able to comment.
