The Little Battery Shop

There are any number of tragic situations I could describe here and you’d know what I mean. You were in the middle of an epic battle on Xbox live and all of a sudden that little message pops up — «Please Turn On Controller» and you realise, horror, the batteries are dead! Or, you had been waiting all day for Big Brother, say, to come on and it was eviction time — you turn on your TV and motion to change the channel and, horror, the batteries are dead! It’s stuck on Escape to the Country!
You get the idea. And here’s where The Little Battery Shop comes in! This handy little kiosk shop does exactly what the name says, it sells all manner of batteries. More batteries than I’ve even known existed. It’s really easy to find, simply get off the bus at the station, walk through the arch to find virtually in front of you, opposite The Real Food Shop, The Little Battery Shop. Something about the businesses in Otley makes me think they like to get straight to the point…
For Christmas my Dad bought me a vanity case, and although it felt a little girlish it is really sweet. Inside it has a mirror with little LED lights all around — it has a 40s dressing room type vibe to it. Cute. So I needed to get batteries for that bad boy. Where did I go? The Little Battery Shop. They new exactly what I needed.
