Friendly family run café up towards the church.
Very reasonable costs for food & drink. Sandwiches, toasties etc (+ recommended pasta bake). Excellent place to be in winter when all the windows get steamed up. I don’t think the coffee matches other cafes but it is half the price. A few tables outside in summer and generally there is some space inside. 2 papers available. Worth visiting for a inexpensive break & the pleasant staff.
