Everyone was saying when this place opened that it was ‘too nice’ for Oldham — it’s the kind of place you’d find in the centre of manchester full of trendies but it’s become popular with a slightly classier clientelle than you’d get across the road in the litten tree,. the décor is authentically buddhist /eastern influenced with little plasma screens showing fashion tv all over the place and there’s a giant statue of buddha at the bottom of the stairs. I’m not sure if Buddhists would approve of this but it really looks impressive. Upstairs is the best because there’s lots of places to sit down and have a chat.
