The meat here is top drawer from animals raised with loving care. Whether you are buying the beef(sourced from Dexter, White Park, Aberdeen Angus or Highland cattle) the lamb or the pork you can be assured that the meat is of excellent quality. The only downside of the farm shop is that it does not carry the same level of stock as your local butcher and consequently will not always have what you want. This is especially the case if you do not call by until later in the day. With a bit of organisation this can be easily solved by calling up and reserving the meat you would like to buy in advance. However, I am rarely that organised. Consequently, arriving at Northfield Farm always has a lucky dip feel about it for me!
