This wine shop is located on Northfield Farm, next to its popular farm shop. A slightly bizarre choice but does mean that you can always find a bottle to drink with your meat purchase(providing you are within Amphora’s limited opening hours). The wine selection inside is French dominated with a good selection from all of the principal growing areas and the proprietor, Patrick Whenham-Bossy is on hand to guide you to a wine which you will enjoy. He is a slightly eccentric but charming character who knows his stuff — he was a sommelier for a number of Michelin starred restaurants prior to opening this venture.
