I’m afraid I had a really poor experience here. It was a beautiful sunny day and should have been an enjoyable lunchtime drink.
But it was very crowded, with dirty tables and broken glass everywhere. Service in the bar was extremely slow; because there was only one poor person serving! I did feel sorry for him.
Mind you, he was quite attractive too!

This is a lovely bar to go to in the summer, lots of outdoor seating next to the water, and if the sun is shining and you have a nice cold magners there’s not many better places to be. It’s actually more or less in a backstreet, you don’t really expect a pub to be there but it’s good. Outside the centre of town, it doesn’t get particularly busy and it’s mostly unremarkable apart from being next to the river.
The bar staff here are friendly and offer a waiting service to outside which is appreciated. They also seem to be rather attractive :)
The draw to this is really being outside in the sun, so wait for a nice day before ya go here!
