Spent a great night here celebrating my husbands birthday with his friends. One of whom lives in Beeston and suggested we try The Greyhound for some live music. Exhibit A where playing and admission was free. The band were excellent. My husband spent most of his evening on the dance floor having a ball, bopping to some great rock, punk and metal covers. The staff were sound too, the guy behind the bar thanking us for coming along as we were leaving. I have to mention the Ladies, they were the loveliest, cleanest toilets I’ve ever used in a music venue. Fairplay to The Greyhound for being the exception to the rule. Hope to be back next time we are visiting the area.

Having moved to Beeston, I was quite impressed to find a rock pub there, and it’s rather good. This place makes me not bother going into Nottingham on a Saturday night half as much as I used to(and if you don’t live round here it’s a short walk from the bus/tram station). Live music every weekend(usually Friday and Saturday), often rock covers and tribute bands. Ale well kept(Tribute, Trooper, sometimes others) and reasonably priced. Quiet in the daytime.

Great little bar. I was lucky enough to catch a live music night, and the band were incredible. A must for lovers of classic rock and good ales.

This is a great Rock pub. Bands on every weekend and somtimes Thursday. They started putting comedy on too. Good range of real ales and the foods not bad(big portions) ooh er missuss! Paul and Vonny do a great job and work their socks off. Have a look at the Sunday Jam Sess. It can be a laugh…
