Unbelievable to me that the Crown has not made it to Unilocal yet. Along with the Victoria Hotel, this is the best pub in Beeston, and in the top five for the entire Nottingham area, in my experience. Those who know beer confidently assert that they maintain their broad range of excellent taps better than any other pub around, and my experience attests to this. The low ceilings, rambling rooms, and excellent atmosphere all add to the experience of being in a pub that finds that beautiful middle between a laid-back local and a serious pint-connoisseur’s place. Topping it off is a friendly, knowledgeable staff and, according to the poster inside it «the best loos in Beeston.» I have no idea what the criteria is for this dubious distinction, but like everything else at the Crown, one can take its authenticity as a given.
