Great Pub, if you are watching a game of cricket at Trent Bridge or Forest/​County make sure you pay this place a visit.
The beer selection is a mixture of local ales to superior lagers and the wine list isn’t half bad either.
The food is amazing and the menu changes on a seasonal basis as the veg is seasonal (meat also?).
It has a lovely beer garden (beer garden in the form of decking).
The atmosphere is relaxed and every day feels like a summers afternoon in the place and is a great place to find Cricket Players enjoying a post match drink in.

Literally right next to Nottingham cricket ground, this place is pretty busy most of the time, particularly around lunch. But you could say with good reason, as the menu is above average pub grub, and a good retro twist on old classics such as prawn cocktail with delicious big kind prawns. Definitely worth going for sunday lunch, or for their maginificent 7 deal — meals which are £7 from 5 – 7. And when you see the normal prices, then you definitely know it’s worth trying to get there at that time!
