A proclaimed sports bar in the middle of Northampton. A great venue with a variety of rooms and music throughout. A lovely beer garden is great for warmer, summer nights. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. NB’s offers monthly themes and events which is great if you enjoy fancy dress or novelty evenings.
PS. Sunday — Thursday: 241 on all cocktails.

A great nightclub; usually only go in the week because it is way too crowded @ the weekend (some saturdays u can queue for an hour to get in).
Always clean and the service is fast and drink prices are normal.
Love the cocktail bar cause they do the best cocktails in town; they also do a great 6 cocktails for a tenner deal. Which is good for a drinking game/​contest, the one catch u can only have 3 different cocktails.

Ok, let me start this review by saying I’m not a massive fan of this place at all. That said, I always seem to end up there on a night out in Northampton town centre for some unknown reason! NB’s is split into 3 rooms, two main rooms and a cocktail bar, and also boasts a large outdoor area at the back with it’s own bar. The music is generally chart/​dance in one main room and RnB in the other. The décor is strange with ridiculously high ceilings and gothic stylings but quite good fun. My biggest complaint is both with the clientele and the disgusting state of the toilets I would expect them to be messy by the end of the night but not at 11pm!

Once upon a time, before this was NB’s, this was a great little venue and unique. Now unfortunately, it’s a bit plain and unremarkable. You will also get quite a young, well-​oiled crowd here so sometimes there’s a fight or two and it gets really busy, so expect to wait a while to get served, especially on a Friday or Saturday night. Music is the normal cheesy dance and pop and you may get a ‘DJ’ too. The range of drinks is OK and you will find a lot of alcopops. The dancefloor is quite small and you have to go downstairs to get to the loos.
