It’s a bit of a funny story. I feel like a lot of British people, primarily the young ones, tend to ignore their own problems and pass it off as «well at least we’re not as bad as America». This leads to a lot of blatant ignoring about serious issues in the country. Talk about self-rationalisation right? I was in the«World Foods» section and was having a look at all the incredible American snackage on display — maple syrup, milk duds, tootsie rolls, LUCKYFUCKINGCHARMS. Anyway, a man strolled by with his(presumably) girlfriend who was very overweight. Normally, I don’t judge people on their weight because I don’t believe in high horse nonsense like that… But seriously… The girl said«look love! Marshmallow fluff!» To which the man replied… «No wonder America’s so fat!!!» Look to your fucking left and you’ll see someone fatter than most Americans I’ve met. And I’m from California. Like I said, a refusal to think about your own problems with the excuse that another problem’s worse. Well, I aaaammm fat but at least I don’t have my own TV show about saving my life! Right?! Anyway, that was just an anecdote to begin my review. This Tesco Extra is pretty awesome and huge. Like seriously huge. Normally I’m disappointed in East Asian stuff at grocers in Wales, but this place surprisingly offered more than 15 jars of Sweet and Sour sauce(I’m fucking look at you… Pontypool Tesco). They have a definite variation as well as other shops and restaurants to take a look at when you’re bored of groceries. Pretty much like a mini shopping mall, I’m impressed.
