toook my family down to the bhurtpore yesterday for tea. all i can say is that i have never eaten such over priced rubish in my whole life. tasteless and bland. i had a burger that had no flavour. And my partner and children both complained about the lack of quality and flavourless food. AVOIDAVOIDAVOID. WOULDHAVEBEENBETTERATMCDONALDS.

Bit of a mecca for Real Ale lovers and other beers from around the world, the best in South Cheshire i would say. Great curries, try the Lamb Super Tinderloo or Lamb Bhurtpore if you like it hot! Bar staff, excellent and really know their stuff, young Bill is great. Beer fests in July and November, train journey for us from Nantwich and a walk across the fields, wonderful. Fave beer here when it’s on is Salopian Gold

Now this Pub is defo one of my favorites of all time. This Pub has it all, although the one downside is that its out in the country so you have to get a Taxi Or Train unless you dont drink, & that would be a BIG shame if you drink real ALE this is the BEST there is! You MUST go here if you like REAL Ale. I love this pub. The Food is also OUTSTANDING. I Take my Family here all the time to eat, great menu, although not cheap, you do get great value in that the quality & most important the TASTE is fantastic. 5 Stars, & a MUST visit. You wont be disappointed! The Landlord Simon runs an amazing Pub which has won many a CAMRA Award. They also host one of the best BEER festivals each year too.

a bit off the beaten track really in that you have to drive a fair distance to get to it, but it is more than worth it when you get there. It has a large carpark to the rear, and on entering the pub you realise you’re in for a treat. A huge chalkboard shows the specials for that day, and the plethora of awards certifictaes relating to both food and the drink is outstanding. The Real ales in particular bring fans in from all over the north west and it is one of the comendable pubs that CAMRA rate very highly. The turnover of cask ales for such a small pub shows just how popular it is. The décor is traditional, but makes the occasion seem special. If you’re in for a meal, try the curries, because they are incredible

The Bhurtpore Inn is a true gem. In sleepy Aston, within walking distance of Wrenbury Station, this family-owned freehouse is a must-visit if you’re in the area. The beer rotation is quite astounding, with no less than 10 guest cask ales on at any one time, plus milds, stouts, and ciders. It’s extremely welcoming, cozy, and has a dining room too serving great grub. A firm fave of CAMRA members who travel from far and wide to visit! Be sure to check out the annual beer festival each July — you can camp in the field at the back if you fancy doing the full weekender!
